The Graduation Ceremony for the Universidad Europea de Valencia class of 2015-2016 was held on June 24. Over 300 students from the Career and Technical Studies, Degree, Dual Degree and Graduate Degrees programs of the different academic departments emotionally received their scholarships under the watchful eyes of Faculty members and more than 2,000 guests, including friends and family. Universidad Europea de Valencia Rector, Juan Morote, chaired the event that was sponsored by Carlos Bertomeu, CEO of Air Nostrum.
A spectacular stage created especially in hall 5 at the Valencia Trade Fair Center was the setting chosen for a Ceremony during which, before the scholarships were presented, seven professors from Universidad Europea de Valencia received the medals that accredit them as new Doctors. Additionally, five teaching staff members and five students received a Special Mention.
Furthermore, two students, one a Graduate Degree student and the other a Doctor’s Degree student, were entrusted with giving speeches on behalf of all their classmates. The Ceremony ended with the Chairwoman of the Universidad Europea de Valencia Student Government and Rector Juan Morote reading the Universidad Europea Commitment.
