The “red tide” triumphs at Volta a Peu

More than 130 participants —including students, employees and family members— enjoyed a charitable day of running as part in the latest edition of Volta a Peu a Valencia.

The Universidad Europea de Valencia “red tide” flooded the city streets on Sunday, May 15, for the 34th edition of the Volta a Peu a Valencia.

It was not even 10 in the morning and the more than 130 runners signed up to participate in the eight kilometer race through the most iconic streets of the Valencia city center had already gathered at Universidad Europea de Valencia. Students, employees and family members ran wearing the distinct red T-shirt of Universidad Europea de Valencia in the road race, on a beautiful day filled with sunshine and good vibes.

The event was a charitable activity, with one euro for every registration going towards a humanitarian activity. This year, the money went towards the Federation of Adapted Sports of the Autonomous Community of Valencia (FESA).

The Universidad Europea running club is constantly in motion and organizes numerous activities for all its members.
