Presentation of the book "Gamification at the University Level"

A team of professors from the Universidad Europea in Valencia presented the work "Gamification and Emotions at the University Level" in which they analyzed the the various applications for the use of video games in education.

The head of the Master's Degree in Education of the Universidad Europea de Valencia, José Martí Parreño, led a team of professors from the Universidad Europea in a research project in which they recently published the work “Gamification at the University Level”. The work covers the repercussions of applying gamification strategies in diverse subjects and the perception of university professors when faced with these new techniques.

The book also contains the results of six studies on the use of gamification at the university level, including a world-wide study in which 550 university professors were surveyed. The project was selected by Laureate Universities from various projects presented by universities in different countries to receive a grant in order to move forward with the research which still needs to be developed in many more phases.
