Discover a new academic model, flexible and personalized, that integrates the face-to-face and virtual classroom.

  • In the Extended Classroom you will be able to attend class in person on campus or remotely connected through digitized classrooms: real time interaction, wherever you are, with cameras, 360 microphones and smart boards.
  • Learning through simulated environments, gamification and virtual laboratories that will allow you to study further, where the real world does not reach, with no limit to the number of practical classes.
  • Experience focused on learning through "doing". An innovative training adapted to the work reality, in complete facilities capable of reproducing work environments.

  • The international nature of this program will enable students and sports managers to obtain the broadest possible perspective on all existing sports management models, not only in Spain but also beyond our borders, thanks to the participation of a top-class international faculty. This educational commitment will exponentially improve the scope and professional possibilities of our students.
  • This MBA primarily consists of ten modules on company management, followed by a crossdisciplinary module on management skills. The program contains a segment that specializes in sports and focuses on marketing, management and the operation of sports facilities.
  • Students will come into contact with all the areas in the city where Real Madrid is present (facilities, sporting venues, organizational and management institutions, etc.), as well as with the Real Madrid Foundation. Students will also gain firsthand insight into other facilities and management models through visits to: Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Ciudad Deportiva Real Madrid (Real Madrid Training Complex), Ciudad del Fútbol de la RFEF (Soccer City of the Royal Spanish Football Federation), Caja Mágica (Madrid Open Tennis Stadium), and other spaces intended for leisure and entertainment run by both public and private organizations.
  • Students may participate in a trip to New York City with other students of the Real Madrid Graduate School. The trip will include visits to the headquarters of important sports leagues such as NBA, MLS, and NHL, major venues like Metlife Stadium, and marketing companies such as Octagon. This is one of the best experiences a Sports Management student can have, both from a managerial and an operational viewpoint, since they will receive hands-on learning and apply the knowledge they have gained throughout their studies.

  • Graduates from this program will be prepared for management careers in a sports context including within sports clubs, governing bodies and sports businesses.

The careers linked to this specialization are in companies relating to sports, in areas such as:

  •  Sports entertainment.
  • Multi-sport events.
  • Sports and exercise services (sport for all).
  • Sports academies.
  • Fitness/wellness chains.
  • Clubs
  • Federations.
  • Athlete representation.
  • Sports equipment multinationals.
  • Sports infrastructure multinationals.
  • Multinationals which invest heavily in sports sponsorship.

Professional practices

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).

In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion.

If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
