The FIFA president has backed the Graduation ceremony of the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea

The Santiago Bernabéu stadium hosted the graduation ceremony of the School year 2016-2017 of the  Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea on the 3rd of July. The ceremony was directed by Real Madrid´s president, Florentino Pérez, and the Dean of the Universidad Europea, Miguel Gómez Navarro. This XI edition also included the participation of the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, who acted as sponsor of the students.

The over 400 students from over 49 countries from all over the world, and their friends, family and guests, listened carefully to the words from Infantino, who reminded them that “Education is key in life and you must always keep learning”. The FIFA President encourage the recently graduated students to keep believing in themselves in order to reach their objectives in life. He also suggested for them to keep in mind his particular work-philosophy that is sustained in 3 main pillars: “hard work, be proud of the work you've done and enjoy it”.

During his speech, Florentino Pérez pointed out that over 9,400 students have already graduated from the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea, a strong project with an international and multi-cultural focus, that includes education programmes in 12 countries and that they will always be linked to the “Real Madrid's wild spirit, where there's no room for the word impossible”. 

The Universidad Europea Dean, Miguel Gómez Navarro, welcomed the graduates to join their alumni network, where there are already more than 50,000 Alumni. Emilio Butragueño, General Director of the School, highlighted the international scope of the project that has become a  “role mode within the sector”.
