Various professors at the Universidad Europea de Valencia have taken a training course on new online educational tools with a view to being able to apply them in the creation of their programs as well as in day-to-day teaching.
This 'back to school' for the Faculty took place at a day session given by professor Juanjo Serrano, of theHealth Department, who split the session into two blocks: strategies for finding and filtering information from the internet, and how to work with Symbaloo, Mindomo, Jing and Tagxedo, applications which facilitate the use of the different options the internet offers us (conceptual maps, screenshots, screencast, and so on) and which can be very useful for teaching.
The aim of the training is promote the use of a greater number of LKT (learning and knowledge technologies) tools among the Universidad Europea de Valencia faculty to improve the teaching-learning process on different levels.
