Universidad Europea de Valencia appoints Amparo Galbis as its new Rector and Ismael Olea as new Director

With these appointments, Universidad Europea de Valencia aims to consolidate its growth and ties to the Autonomous Region of Valencia

Universidad Europea de Valencia has appointed Amparo Galbis Córdova as its new Rector; she will replace Juan Morote Sarrión in the position, who is currently Rector of Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Amparo Galbis has been working at Universidad Europea de Valencia since 2011, where she has held various executive and management positions, giving her full knowledge of the institution and the education sector. Until this appointment, she was Academic Director at the University’s School of Social Sciences and Communication. She holds a PhD in Teaching Innovation, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and extensive graduate education, in addition to have held various management positions in the business world before joining the University.

Ismael Olea, new Director of Universidad Europea de Valencia

 In order to continue incorporating talent and quality into all its processes and bodies, Universidad Europea de Valencia has appointed Ismael Olea as its Director.

The new senior officer at the institution has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business Management, and vast professional experience in the education sector in the Autonomous Community of Valencia. He has held various management positions at the ESIC Business & Marketing School headquarters in Valencia, including General Director, Regional Director for Executive Education, and External Relations Director. He later worked as Corporate Project Director in Madrid.
