Universidad Europea de Canarias students will have the chance to complete internships at the Urban Development Consortium for the Restoration of Puerto de la Cruz, specifically in areas involving the development of the Modernization Plan.
Consortium CEO, Carlos Alonso, and Universidad Europea de Canarias rector, Cristina Oliveira, have signed an educational collaboration agreement to promote curricular and extracurricular internships for students enrolled at the university.
Alonso explained that this agreement contributes to conveying to future professionals “the vision of the destination and the new positioning the Consortium is working on so that students can contrast and apply the knowledge they have acquired".
The rector of Universidad Europea de Canarias ensured that this agreement is a “unique opportunity” for students at the university to come into contact with the professional reality of Puerto de la Cruz, “a top tourist destination, which will help them complete their resumes and experience”.
