The students of the masters degree in sports marketing of the Real Madrid Graduate School - Universidad Europea travelled to Germany on the 29th of January to enjoy 10 days in the German cities of Dusseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and Munich.

Their trip began with a visit to the stadium VELTINS-Arena, in the city of Gelsenkirchen, where the Schalke 04 Football Club play its home games in the German football League. There, they met with Alexander Jobst, the marketing director of the club.

The same day, they also visited the Rot-Weiss Essen Stadium, in the city of Essen, where they met with Reiner Koch, the Marketing director of the Rot-Weiss Essen team, the local team of the city.

During the third day of the trip, they took a guided tour of the Signal Iduna Park, the biggest stadium in the country and the current headquarters of the Borussia Dortmund team. There they met with the team's sports marketing department.

Another remarkable visit was to the headquarters of a couple of very well-known sports brands, Puma and Adidas, both of German origin.

Likewise, the future professionals of the sports industry, visited the Bayer Munich stadium, where the local marketing department offered a presentation and where they enjoyed a lunch.

Students also took part in the exhibition ISPO 2017, the international exhibition of sports  and fashion that is held on a yearly basis in the city of Munich. They learned about the latest trends in the sports industry as shown by the ISPO Academy.

It was an intensive trip where the students of the Master Degree in Sports Marketing were able to broaden their education thanks to the different professionals they met and to all the different sports installations they visited.
