Students from the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management visit the COE and the CSF

They heard speeches from experts about the operations of the two institutions

In May, students from the Sports Policy course in the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management had the opportunity to visit Spain's major sports institutions: the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the Higher Sports Council (CSD).

At the COE they were received by Sports Director Ricardo Leiva, who gave an interesting presentation on the operations of the institution, the Olympic values and the classification system for the Spanish Olympic Team.

In their visit to the CSD they were attended to by Executive Advisor Carlota Castrejana. Castrejana gave a speech in the same room where the Council's highest governing bodies meet, in which he broke down the actions implemented by the government in the last legislative session to improve sports. The group was also able to participate in training sessions for top-level athletes at the Madrid High Performance Center.

President of the RFEF Competition Committee at the University

President of the National Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Soccer Federation (RFEF) and Professor at Universidad de Extremadura Francisco Rubio Sánchez visited Universidad Europea de Madrid on Tuesday May 24.

Rubio gave a speech on the sport of soccer in Spain as part of the School of Sports and Exercise Sciences course in Sports Law, taught by Professors Nicolás de la Plata and Carolina López.
