Proposals for Puerto de Valencia from the School of Architecture decorate the Mercado de Tapinería

The visions of students from the School of Architecture and Engineering on how to evolve and improve the Puerto de Valencia facilities are reflected in an exhibition at the temporary galleries of the Tapinería

The School of Architecture and Engineering of Universidad Europea de Valencia officially opened the PORT (A) VALENCIA Exhibition at the Mercado de Tapinería on Tuesday July 5. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Valenciaport Foundation.

PORT (A) VALENCIA is the final display of the projects developed during the 2015-2016 school year by the various project workshops of Universidad Europea de Valencia’s School of Architecture and Engineering as part of the 2016 Integrative Project. The students created architecture and urban proposals for different areas of research that were opened thanks to the collaboration between the Valenciaport Foundation and the Universidad Europea de Valencia’s School of Architecture and Engineering.

The opening event was attended by Universidad Europea de Valencia Rector Juan Morote and Valenciaport Foundation Director Vicente del Río. Vicente del Río highlighted the “the creativity and brilliant ideas” of the students who created the different projects, given that “it is a challenge to integrate the Port into the city.”
