Physiotherapy studies at Universidad Europea feature in report on French television

Beatriz Martínez, the current Director of the Physiotherapy and Sports Department, collaborated on the report produced by itele that analyzes the influx of French students onto courses at Universidad Europea

The French television channel, itele, wanted to investigate the increasing number of French students choosing to study at Universidad Europea every year. The channel visited the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus to hear first-hand experiences from French students and opinions from staff at Universidad Europea.

French students choose courses related to health and sport, in which physiotherapy training plays a large role. “I am very pleased to see that, both for the students coming from France and for us, Universidad Europea can adapt a number of courses into French so that the learning process can be as easy as possible”, says Thibaut Castellano, a physiotherapy student, for itele.

The report also includes Beatriz Martínez, the current Director of the Physiotherapy and Sports Department at Universidad Europea de Madrid. “We currently have 545 French students and the number has been increasing for the last five years. Before that, we used to have an average of ten students for the physiotherapy courses”, Beatriz says. The current course director also says that, “at present, the change has been so great that we have opened a new course just for 96 new French students who have come to Universidad Europea to begin their studies with us”.
