On October 11, the Universidad Europea and Mediaset España inaugurated the 7th edition of the Master in Audiovisual Content Creation and Management-Mediaset España, which aims to provide students with an overview of the audiovisual business, digging deeper into the departments of the leading company in its sector in Spain, and one of the most important in Europe. Paolo Vasile, CEO of Mediaset España, was at the presentation and stressed that “in our sector everything is based on passion and knowledge; there's no use having one without the other”

The opening ceremony for the graduate degree, which has been offered continuously since 2009, was also attended by Marta Muñiz, dean of the School of Social Sciences and Communication at the Universidad Europea; and Luis Alonso Martin-Romo, director of the Master. In addition to Paolo Vasile, Mediaset España was represented by its chairman Alejandro Echevarría, who welcomed the new class of students.

Marta Muñiz, dean of the School of Social Sciences and Communication at the Universidad Europea, emphasized that "we live in a context in which the audiovisual market demands leaders who know the new model of television first hand, and with the criteria and knowledge to discover new opportunities for success. It is a big satisfaction for the Universidad Europea to train these future leaders together with a leading company such as Mediaset España, jointly putting together a program that combines the experience and knowledge of Mediaset professionals with the teaching quality of our University”.

With an eminently practical approach, the Master in Audiovisual Content Creation and Management-Mediaset España allows students to understand the processes and take part in the day-to-day work of Spain’s leading audiovisual sector company, whose efficient management of its leadership in television, the Internet, social media and advertising turnover, with a market share of 43.6% from January to June according to Infoadex data, make this media company one of the most profitable in Spain, and one of the leading market capitalization companies in Europe.
