Launch of a PBL with Publishing company Le Canarien, and students from various degree programs and years

The project consists of implementing various activities to promote and catalog heritage and gastronomy

Second year Advertising Communication students are taking part in a PBL (Project-Based Learning) project which has recently been launched in collaboration with Canary Island publishing company based in La Orotava Le Canarien and three courses from different Degree Programs and levels offered by professors Elena Pérez, Elena Rodríguez and Enrique Carrasco.

The project consists of implementing various activities to promote and catalog heritage and gastronomy related to the tourist and cultural publications issued by this publishing company. Several meetings have been held at our University headquarters or the company’s office, with active involvement from the entity’s director, Zeben López.

It is an exciting project because it puts students in contact with an organization that conveys a need that will ultimately come to life as a real project promoted by the students.
