Books with chocolate, a video game market and a food collection campaign are some of the activities with which the Universidad Europea has helped various charities
Universidad Europea has welcomed Christmas as what it really is: a time of generosity, empathy and solidarity. The institution understands that sustainable development is essential to continue progressing as a society. For this reason, it has involved the entire educational community in different activities that aim to provide solutions to major social challenges.
Countless books have been donated to be sold and all the profits used to help Save the Children's Christmas campaign in one of the great Christmas initiatives, Books with chocolate. The Video Games for Food Association also received help from the University. In this event, participants had the opportunity to exchange their video games for kilos of food, estimating the value of the game in order to make the donation. Food and gift collection campaigns have also been set up during these days.
The lonely and our elderly have also received help from the educational community of the institution. The students have produced Christmas cards for the lonely and advent calendars, which have been distributed in the residences.
