Aimed at graduates who work or wish to work professionally in the field of Law, Business or Economics and have a special interest in specializing or updating their knowledge of taxation.
It is advisable to have studied a university degree in the Social Sciences or Legal branch such as Law, Business Management, Economics, International Relations, Business Sciences or similar.
The admissions process for programs in the Postgraduate School at Universidad Europea is open all year round, although registration in any of the programs is dependent on the availability of places.

The campus in Alcobendas is a different campus aimed at Company + Entrepreneurship. If you are coming from outside of the Region of Madrid and would like to undertake the on-site full-time program, you can find accommodation in line with your needs: near to campus, safe, comfortable, in an academic setting, with good services, quality furnishings, etc. Thanks to the two student halls that Universidad Europea has, both located on campus and with capacity for 550 people, with all domestic, academic and safety needs ideally suited to a student.
These student halls are destined both for students or for those teachers or personnel who may need accommodation at some point: scientific, artistic or cultural exchanges, or even for any other person whose stay is directly or indirectly related to the University.

This Master’s Degree has a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Association of Tax Advisers (AEDAF), made up of university graduates specializing in tax who work professionally providing tax advice. Its aim is to publicize the profession of Tax Adviser and transmit its importance in our economy. This Association, as well as providing the members with useful tools for the development of their career, has as its objectives to participate actively in creating a public tax conscience among citizens, in line with the ethical commitment of our University with society.
AEDAF offers its members noteworthy articles, professional gatherings, as well as continual experience exchanges. In addition, there is the opportunity to collaborate in the preparation or modification of legal texts on taxation.
AEDAF collaborates with the University by providing teachers with a wide range of professional experience and granting the possibility to students to complete internships at their offices in order to bring them closer to the profession.
Additionally, we have collaboration agreements with first level professional firms in the field of taxation, who provide us with teachers with significant experience, allowing students to have first-hand access to the profession.

The modules on the Master’s Degree are taught by doctors and actively working professionals. The judging panels of the End of Master’s Degree Thesis will also be made up of experts in the field (doctors, professors of Economics and Business Departments, Legal and Policy Departments and actively working professionals).

Certified as assistant doctor, hired professor and Private University professor. Practising lawyer, with substantial experience advising companies. An expert in new technologies, especially in electronic invoicing, having developed research projects and publications on the subject; with the research project worth highlighting “The future of electronic invoicing in Spain: adapting companies to e-invoices”, of which he was the main researcher and the book, in collaboration, “The electronic Invoice. Technology, Procedures and Safety” published by Delta.
Dr. Mª Victoria Gutiérrez Duarte
Doctor in Business Law, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Master’s Degree in Tax Advice at the Centro de Estudios Ignacio de Loyola (CEIL) and Graduate in Economics and Business Sciences, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Associate Professor of several subjects in the area of public economics and taxation in the Department of Economics and Business, Universidad Europea de Madrid.
Marta Izquierdo García
Graduate in Economics and Business Sciences, Universidad CEU San Pablo. Currently, Tax Technician in the Regional Inspection of the Tax Authority (AEAT) of Madrid. Her professional experience has developed in the Management and Inspection of direct tax returns (Income, Corporation and VAT Tax) as well resolving internal technical queries and spreading awareness of tax updates. She has also collaborated with the Region of Madrid in real estate tax (VAT and Transfer Tax). She has substantial teaching experience with the Tax Authorities teaching courses on updated tax law to civil servants in the Administration; preparing personnel, both civil servants and external, as well as participating in Tax Return campaigns; talks and conferences aimed at external professionals and collaborating in training sessions organized by professional colleges and associations.
Dr. Sila Marcos Alsina
Doctor in Economics, Universidad de Málaga and Master’s Degree in Tax Advice and Taxation, Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), Madrid. Her teaching and research experience has centered since the year 2000 on Public Taxation. Professor at Universidad Europea since 2011, has previously worked in different business areas.
Dr. Inmaculada Mateos de la Nava
Doctor in Public Economics, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and graduate in Business and Economics Sciences. Extraordinary Prize for her Doctoral Thesis, Economics Sciences and Sociology Section for the year 2008/2009 at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Has held many diverse positions at Gas Natural sdg, S.A. and Gas Natural Comercializadora, S.A. between 1995 and 2001. Associate Professor in the Economics and Public Tax Department, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid between 2003 and 2008. Currently, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Universidad Europea de Madrid and Director of the Master’s Degree in Business Management.
Luis Montero García
Graduate in Law, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master’s Degree in Business Law, Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. Additionally, is a Judicial Expert, member of the Madrid Bar Association. With 25 years’ professional experience as a practicing lawyer, has developed his professional activity at various firms and is currently founding partner at Montero & Nogués Legal Advisors. Has extensive experience in Family Law, Inheritance and Probate, asset evaluation, transfer prices, as well as files of valuation checks of all types of assets before Public Administrations, business taxation and Commercial Law.
José María Nogues Torroba
Graduate in Law, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master’s Degree in Business Law, Universidad Antonio de Nebrija. 21 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer, has developed his professional activity at various law firms and currently is a founding partner at Montero & Nogués Legal Advisors. Has substantial experience in Commercial, Administrative and Tax Law, international Taxation and transfer pricing.
Dr. María Concepción Saavedra Serrano
Doctor in Economics, UNED and Graduate in Economics Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Currently, Economics and Tax professor of the Department of Economics and Business at Universidad Europea de Madrid. Additionally, has published two university textbooks on taxation and several scientific articles on the European Monetary Union, has participated in international conferences and research projects. Her main areas of research are: Spanish and international taxation, economic, financial and tax analysis of European integration.

2. What does the admissions test consist of?
When will you know you’ve been accepted?

3. Reserve your place
Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.
All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.
You don’t have to carry on doing something you don’t want to. For this reason, we have designed specific convalidation and university transfer plan. Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).
In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion.
If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
