The Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering is aimed at students with the following profile:
The Master’s Degree is aimed at professionals who are currently employed and have prior relevant experience, so that their personal and professional maturity will allow them to make the most of the program, allowing them to go from junior or senior engineering positions to Engineering Directors.
Additionally, students should provide proof of having at least a level B1 of English, or demonstrate a sufficient level during the interview in English with the Master’s Directors, as one of the main modules and two of the optional subjects are taught in English (also due to the nature of the specialty, most of the bibliography will be in English). Of the 60 ECTS, 10% will be taught in English, which will increase to 20% if the optional subjects chosen include those taught in English.
The admissions process for programs in the Postgraduate School at Universidad Europea is open all year round, although registration in any of the programs is dependent on the availability of places.

In Madrid we have two campuses (Villaviciosa de Odón and Alcobendas), another campus in Valencia and another one in the Canary Islands. In total, we have 25 hectares with the best facilities: 3 university clinics, laboratories for all the scientific degrees, multimedia language center, sports complexes and student halls of residence.
In addition, there are work spaces available, tutorial classrooms and areas for group work in all our buildings, as well as within the library, that are available to students and teachers.
Upon completion of this program, the student is awarded the official Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering issued by Universidad Europea de Madrid.
The syllabus is made up of a core of four compulsory modules which cover the essence of Systems Engineering, together with three specialization options of four optional modules each, so that the student can adapt their training to their interests and those of their company.
During the first semester, the compulsory or core modules will be taught and the first optional module of each of the specialization options. During the second semester, the three remaining optional modules will be taught, along with completion of the End of Master’s Degree Thesis.

The three subjects taught in English (one core compulsory module and two optional subjects) will be taught via videoconference by teachers at universities abroad.
Top level teaching faculty, made up of prestigious national and international professors in the field of Systems Engineering, with substantial experience in the sector.
The classes with the international teachers will take place through virtual sessions, where the professor will explain the content and reply to any questions via videoconference.

Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.
All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).
In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion.
If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
