New candidate profile and degree access routes:

  • Graduates in any of the degrees which are qualifying for the profession of Technical Industrial Engineer or Industrial Engineers in accordance with Royal Decree 1393/2007
  • Graduates of other degrees in the Industrial branch who have completed 48 ECTS in industrial technologies. This includes all graduates who, having not qualified professionally, have been verified in accordance with Order CIN/351/2009
  • Graduates of other degrees in the Industrial Branch who, have not completed 48 ECTS in industrial technologies but have completed complementary training.  

Access Requirements

To commence the Master’s Degree the student must fulfil the legal requirements in accordance with R.D. 861/2010:

In order to access the Master’s degree it will be necessary to have an official Spanish university degree or other issued by a higher education institution in the European Higher Education Area which allows the candidate in the country where the degree was issued, to access postgraduate Master’s Degrees.

Additionally, article 4.2 of the Annex to Order CIN/311/2009:

“Article 4.2 Conditions for access to the Master’s Degree: 

  • 4.2.1 Access to the qualifying Master’s Degree for the exercise of the profession of Industrial Engineer shall be granted to those students who have previously acquired the skills covered in article 3 of the Ministerial Order establishing the requirements for the verification of official university degrees which qualify the student for the exercise of the profession of Technical Industrial Engineer and their training in accordance with article 5 of said Ministerial Order.
  • 4.2.2 Additionally, access to the Master’s Degree shall be permitted, when the graduate degree of the candidate proves they have completed a basic training module common to this branch, even if it does not cover the specific technological branch and if 48 credits in said module qualify for the exercise of Technical Industrial Engineer, in accordance with said Ministerial Order.
  • 4.2.3 Equally, this Master’s Degree shall be available to those in possession of any other degree without prejudice that in this case it will be necessary to establish the completion of certain complementary courses as may be deemed necessary.”

Which refers to article 5 of Ministerial Order CIN/351/2009:

  • “Article 5. Study plan: the degrees referenced in this agreement are official university degrees and their syllabuses having a duration of 240 European credits, referred to in article 5 of said Royal Decree 1393/2007 of the 29th of October.”

1. Documentation

To begin your admission process, the first thing to do is book your appointment online or by calling 91 740 72 72.

3. Reserve your place

Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.

4. Registration

All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.

Convalidations and transfers

You don’t have to carry on doing something you don’t want to. For this reason, we have designed specific convalidation and university transfer plan. If you want to know your personalized plan, as quickly and easily as possible, send us an email to along with the following documentation:

  • Personal academic certificate of the original degree.
  • Study plan sealed by the Secretariat of the center of origin.
  • The academic program of the subjects studied and/or enrolled in the original degree.
  • Officially translated degree certificate (only in the case of foreign graduates)

  • Work life certificate
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Company certificate, only in those cases where it is necessary to prove the functions performed in the company, or in cases of students with international professional experience who cannot provide a work-life certificate.

Professional practices

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).

In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion. 

If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
