The Master’s Degree in Communication and Digital Entrepreneurship makes available theory spaces, as well as the laboratories that are freely accessible to students, where you will learn by doing either participating in Europea Media or individually.

  • Television studios: Set and production control with four camera lines, image control and audio and lighting control, prepared for the recreation or broadcast of all kinds of programs to be recorded and/or aired via streaming.
  • Virtual Set: Equipped with three robotic cameras and chroma to film in real time a 3D set including camera movements.
  • Radio studios: Three radio studios to complete radio programs with professional equipment and to manage audio for different programs.
  • Digital sound and dubbing studio: Equipped with digital technology and specific postproduction audio software, aimed at dubbing exercises and sound of different pieces.
  • Photography laboratory and set: Designed for the creation of professional photography sets, with analog and digital equipment, continuous light and flash, backgrounds, photography tables and anything necessary to capture and subsequently edit, retouch and print images.
  • Digital Image Classroom: Equipped with IT posts, graphic palettes with optical pencils, scanners, printers and photographic retouching tools as well as software necessary for digital image treatment. Equipped with a projector in the post of the teacher to ease teaching.
  • Graphic Design laboratories: Two rooms equipped with work spaces with Mac and the necessary tools to create and print advertising and graphic communication, using specialized software used in professional graphic studios, as well as a plotter to print out professional advertising work. There are also graphic palettes and a projector in the teacher’s post.  
  • Multimedia rooms: Three classrooms equipped with the necessary programs to design web sites and interactive sites as well as animations and advertising for web sites. Equipped with the software necessary to access data bases for market research, media and support.
  • Video equipment: Material available for filming productions such as lighting accessories, HD video cameras, steady, crane, microphone and professional sound recording equipment.
  • Postproduction rooms: Non-lineal editing rooms for audio and video assembly with professional software both for Mac or PC with HD technology.
  • Newsrooms: Equipped with the technology necessary to prepare news reports as well as the preparation and printing of newspapers. All the classrooms have direct access to the news agency.
  • University newspaper: Equipped with the technology to edit, set and publish a digital newspaper edited by the students under the direction of the Faculty professors.
  • Radio station: Professional radio facilities where students work exclusively on broadcasting via the internet every day of the year under the supervision of Faculty professors.

Ángel Fernández Fernández
Doctor in Communication, UEM. Since 2005 is a professor of various subjects relating to graphic design and multimedia and aesthetics and digital culture. His line of research relates to interactivity, the visualization of information and the cultural impact of new technology.

Has been a founding partner of 4Reasons, a consulting company dedicated to digital communication and analysis of new consumer trends. During this period, advised companies and institutions such as the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the Council of Bilbao or BBVA among others.

Guillermo Rodríguez  
Training and Experience: Deputy Head of El Huffington Post. Graduate in Geography and History, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, started writing on the internet in 1998. Since then, has never left the digital world. Was the Head Editor at the now disappeared newspaper Ya, editor in the economics magazines, 'Ideas& Negocios' and 'Ranking', Head Editor of the website on technological information Baquí Has also been a columnist on information on the internet at Libertad Digital and a coordinator of the online central editors of Grupo Vocento. In 2007, formed part of the founding team behind the newspaper 'Público' as Head Editor of the Online edition. Since 2012 is Deputy Director of El Huffington Post, the Spanish edition of The Huffington Post.  

Pablo Fernández Burgueño
Lawyer specializing in technology and communications. Cofounder of NevTrace, a Blockchain laboratory where he provides training and research services regarding the advances in electronic currencies (Bitcoin, Dash, Ether…). In mid 2008 cofounded Abanlex, the law firm that initiated and participated in the first case on the Right to be Forgotten, against Google.

His specialties are cyber security, data protection, space law, electronic contracts,  copyright, video game rights, internet rights, e-commerce, etc.

Luis Guerra 
Professor of Spanish Language in the Faculty of Arts and Communication, Universidad Europea de Madrid, whose Department of Communications he currently heads. His research centers on the teaching of Spanish as a first and foreign language, lexical availability, the language in the media and the relationship between language and immigration. He has authored over thirty presentations at national and international conferences and twenty collaborations in the form of chapters in books and articles in specialized journals. Has been a visiting professor at the Research Institute for the Study of Language in Urban Society at the University of the City of New York.

Luis Calderón 
Master’s Degree in Usability and User Experience and a Graduate in Journalism, Luis Calderón is the user experience Designer at El Confidencial. Co-organizer of UX Academy, UXfighters and the Master’s Degree in Usability and User Experience at KSchool. He was previously a reporter and editor in different media companies such as La Cuestión or Metro Madrid.  

Bárbara Yuste
Doctor in Journalism, Universidad Complutense. Professional with over 18 years’ experience in journalism and communication. Has worked for media such as ABC and companies in the digital sector such as Adigital, where she is Head of Communications and Red Innova. Is a teacher at different centers teaching subjects relating to journalism and digital communications.

1. Documentation

3. Reserve your place

Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.

4. Registration

All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.

Convalidations and transfers

You don’t have to carry on doing something you don’t want to. For this reason, we have designed specific convalidation and university transfer plan. If you want to know your personalized plan, as quickly and easily as possible, send us an email to along with the following documentation:

  • Personal academic certificate of the original degree.
  • Study plan sealed by the Secretariat of the center of origin.
  • The academic program of the subjects studied and/or enrolled in the original degree.
  • Officially translated degree certificate (only in the case of foreign graduates)

Professional practices

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).

In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion. 

If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
