In the case of students of the Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, they will have at their disposal laboratories and workshops with all the machines from the manufacturing and design world like FabLab, an engine laboratory, wind tunnel and flight procedure simulators, as well as the software applications used in the aeronautical sector (AVL, CATIA, MSC Nastran, Patran, Adams, Dytran, MoTech, Xflow, Ansys, etc) which will always be at your disposal, even from home when you are completing the program, so that your training can develop at the highest level possible.

Doctor in Aeronautical Engineering. Has developed his research career in the field of aerodynamic design and computational thermofluiddynamics. Author of several scientific articles in these areas and speaker at international scientific conferences. Currently works in the Aerodynamics Department at Airbus Defence&Space.

Dr. Fermín Navarro Medina
Doctor in Aeronautical Engineering, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since June 2010. Completed his doctoral program at Instituto de Microgravedad “Ignacio da Riva”, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (IDR/UPM), with the title “Lifting basalt in high speed rails”. Has several publications in the field of civil aerodynamics relating to aerodynamics in high speed trains and has presented at several national and international conferences in the same field.

Dr. José Omar Martínez Lucci
Doctor in Mechanical Engineering. Expert in Thermal Sciences, Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics. Worked in the aeronautical industry for 7 years where he implemented a program of trust in the Boeing 737 fleet and was Head of the Quality Control Department at American Airlines in Lima, Peru.

Rafael Pax
Aeronautical Engineer, specializing in Aircraft Missiles and Motopropellers and MBA. Department of Structures, Engines and UAVs in the main Spanish and multinational companies such as Aernnova, Aciturri-Aries Complex, Alestis, Sener, Tekplus and Assystem working as Project Engineer, Head Engineer, Technical Director and General Manager.  

Dr. Julio Gallegos Alvarado
Doctor in Astrophysics, 2000 and in Automatic and Control for Space Structures in 2009. Is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, currently working in the European Center for Space Astronomy (ESAC), the European Space Agency (ESA) as manager of projects such as the center for Data Processing of the GAIA mission; or the center for Scientific Operations of the Euclid Mission. In addition, he participates in the directorate of Telecommunications of the Agency with the program SmallGEO and the design of scientific centers (Science Ground Segments) for the future Euclid mission. Is an Associate Professor of Satellite Design and Space Vehicles, whose main research areas are the control systems for satellites and applications in Cube-sat. Has worked as a researcher and professor at Universidad de Cantabria (Santander, Spain), Astrophysics Laboratory, Columbia University (New York, USA), College de France (Paris, France), Max-Planck-Institut für Astrophysik (Garching, Germany) and Universidad del Valle, Guatemala

Antonio Peláez Portales
Aeronautical Engineer, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid specializing in Airports and Air Navigation. Joins the General Directorate for Aviation in 1995 as a civil servant in the Group of Aeronautical Engineers and for six years collaborates on European initiatives to improve air navigation. In 2001 leaves the public sector and joins INECO, where he directs projects on Air Navigation nationally and internationally.

Since 2006 is part of SENASA, having collaborated in the establishment of the Accident Notification System at AESA. At the same time, participates on numerous projects for international cooperation aimed at improving the capacities of aviation authorities and service providers.

During these years, Antonio has simultaneously worked on technical tasks and teaching management. Currently, maintains this teaching vocation as associate professor at numerous universities and instructor in Safety Management. Antonio is an author and senior instructor on the new course of Operational Safety of OACI, prepared in 2016 and currently taught on all five continents.

Jesús Martín Sánchez
Aeronautical Engineer. Master’s Degree in Robotics and Telematics. Doctorate funded by Airbus Defence&Space, for the development of refueling strategies in autonomous flight, completing exchanges at the University of Sydney and attaining the autonomous link of two RPAs. 1. Documentation

To begin your admission process, the first thing to do is book your appointment online or by calling 91 740 72 72.

2.  What does the admissions test consist of?

3. Reserve your place

Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.

4. Registration

All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.

Convalidations and transfers

You don’t have to carry on doing something you don’t want to. For this reason, we have designed specific convalidation and university transfer plan. If you want to know your personalized plan, as quickly and easily as possible, send us an email to along with the following documentation:

  • Personal academic certificate of the original degree.
  • Study plan sealed by the Secretariat of the center of origin.
  • The academic program of the subjects studied and/or enrolled in the original degree.
  • Officially translated degree certificate (only in the case of foreign graduates)

Professional practices

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).

In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion. 

If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
