The Master in Business Administration* is especially aimed at professionals wishing to complement their training with a complete and highly practical knowledge of the different areas that make up a company.  

This program is specifically aimed at university graduates of very varied fields that are interested in developing a role in business management. It is also aimed at those professionals who are interested in taking on innovation challenges and continuing their professional development throughout their careers.

Our students come from university backgrounds in Engineering, Law, Health Sciences, Business Administration, Economics as well as other degrees and are seeking to further their training and studies and/or professional experience in order to acquire a global, integrated and strategic vision of a company.

Access Requirements

Official Spanish university degree or other issued by a higher education center belonging to another country in the European Higher Education Area.

Degree issued in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area do not need to be officially recognized, as long as the University can ascertain that the level of study is equivalent to the corresponding official university degree in Spain and they allow access in the home country to postgraduate studies. Access through this channel is not, in any case, an official recognition of the previous university degree in Spain nor is it recognizing anything other than access to this Master’s degree.

If you are coming from outside of the Region of Madrid and would like to undertake the on-site full-time program, you can find accommodation in line with your needs: near to campus, safe, comfortable, in an academic setting, with good services, quality furnishings, etc. Thanks to the two student halls that Universidad Europea has, both located on campus and with capacity for 550 people, with all domestic, academic and safety needs ideally suited to a student.

These student halls are destined both for students or for those teachers or personnel who may need accommodation at some point: scientific, artistic or cultural exchanges, or even for any other person whose stay is directly or indirectly related to the University.

Syllabus Structure

The Master in Business Administration of Universidad Europea, as well as the general syllabus, offers the possibility to become specialized in specific sectors such as: Health and Wellness, Retail and e-Commerce or Digital Technologies.  The student has the option to choose any of these specialties by completing two specific modules (Environment Analysis and Strategy and Management of Operations) which allows them to deepen their knowledge in this area of activity.

D. Tomás A. García García
Bachelor in Physics from the University of Seville, MBA from Henley Business School and executive program in commercial management from Insead, Tomás has more than 20 years of experience at the intersection between technology and business. Prior to joining IBM in 1999, Tomás worked in research in the field of microelectronics at both the CSIC and the Eindhoven University of Technology and Philips Research. He is currently the Executive Director of the Industry and Services Sector at IBM Spain, a responsibility he assumed in 2016 after leading the IBM storage systems business unit for Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel.

  • Challenge Based Learning: you will learn through real cases of top-level multinationals, using tools such as Watson or Cognos. Thanks to simulations or role plays, you will be thoroughly prepared to be a global professional.

The Degree Quality Committee is the entity responsible for executing the vertical coordination to guarantee the quality of the degree through the elaboration and supervision of the Action and Improvement Plan.

This Commission gets together periodically during each academic year:  

  • At the start of the year, to establish the action plan and analyze the main difficulties at the start of it. This first meeting is attended by student representatives with the aim to hear their opinions/issues. The agenda of this meeting deals with the following: Issues with the start of the course, latest news, coordination of the program, coordinating the study areas, learning guides, public information on the web page, professional internships, end of Master thesis project, expectations of students and teachers. Additionally, the action and improvement plan for the current academic year is designed.
  • Half-way through the course, to evaluate the fulfillment of the established plan.
  • At the end of the course, to evaluate the fulfillment level and analyze the program deployment.

Internal Quality Control System

Universidad Europea has designed its Internal Quality Control System in accordance with the directives of the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d, Regional Agency for the Evaluation of the Quality of Universities, as a structural basis to guarantee the quality of new degrees in accordance with the quality directives of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and Organic Law 4/2007 of the 12th of April, which modifies Organic Law 6/2001 of the 21st of December, on Universities.
