The Master in Business Administration* is especially aimed at professionals wishing to complement their training with a complete and highly practical knowledge of the different areas that make up a company.  

This program is specifically aimed at university graduates of very varied fields that are interested in developing a role in business management. It is also aimed at those professionals who are interested in taking on innovation challenges and continuing their professional development throughout their careers.

Our students come from university backgrounds in Engineering, Law, Health Sciences, Business Administration, Economics as well as other degrees and are seeking to further their training and studies and/or professional experience in order to acquire a global, integrated and strategic vision of a company.

Access Requirements

Official Spanish university degree or other issued by a higher education center belonging to another country in the European Higher Education Area.

Degree issued in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area do not need to be officially recognized, as long as the University can ascertain that the level of study is equivalent to the corresponding official university degree in Spain and they allow access in the home country to postgraduate studies. Access through this channel is not, in any case, an official recognition of the previous university degree in Spain nor is it recognizing anything other than access to this Master’s degree.

Syllabus Structure

The Master in Business Administration* of Universidad Europea, as well as the general syllabus, offers the possibility to become specialized in specific sectors such as: Health and Wellness, Retail and e-Commerce or Digital Technologies.  The student has the option to choose any of these specialties by completing two specific modules (Environment Analysis and Strategy and Management of Operations) which allows them to deepen their knowledge in this area of activity.

Applying skills and content acquired to practice. The student will undertake professional tasks under the supervision of a supervisor in a company and an academic tutor, who will guide this process of introduction into the practical application of the skills and contents of the program.



MODULE IX: End of Master Thesis Project



The development of the End of Master Thesis Project will take place in a group, using as a basis the knowledge acquired during the different modules and the professional internships. Students will always be guided by their tutor and evaluated by a panel.

Dr. D. Miguel Ángel Povedano Jiménez

Program Director. Miguel Ángel Povedano Jiménez is Professor of Economics and Business in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communications at Universidad Europea, specializing in the Financial Area.  He is a Doctor in Economics and Business, as well as a Master in Commerce and International Economic Relations. Since 1987 when he began his professional career in the Commerce Market of Madrid, he has always worked in the business world, having obtained ample experience. His background has been enriched throughout more than 30 years of experience as an Adviser and Consultant, Financial Director, Manager and Founder of companies in different fields and sectors.

The Degree Quality Committee is the entity responsible for executing the vertical coordination to guarantee the quality of the degree through the elaboration and supervision of the Action and Improvement Plan.

This Commission gets together periodically during each academic year:  

  • At the start of the year, to establish the action plan and analyze the main difficulties at the start of it. This first meeting is attended by student representatives with the aim to hear their opinions/issues. The agenda of this meeting deals with the following: Issues with the start of the course, latest news, coordination of the program, coordinating the study areas, learning guides, public information on the web page, professional internships, end of Master thesis project, expectations of students and teachers. Additionally, the action and improvement plan for the current academic year is designed.
  • Half-way through the course, to evaluate the fulfillment of the established plan.
  • At the end of the course, to evaluate the fulfillment level and analyze the program deployment.

Internal Quality Control System

3. Reserve your place

Along with the admissions letter, you will receive an envelope with information about official registration. It is recommended that in order to reserve your place, you should respond within 7 days of receiving the letter.

4. Registration

All students joining the Universidad Europea for the first time, wanting to study a degree, must open a file with the university, prior to registration. The Department of Admission for New Students will provide the candidate with all the documentation and forms to complete their registration.

Convalidations and transfers

You don’t have to carry on doing something you don’t want to. For this reason, we have designed specific convalidation and university transfer plan. If you want to know your personalized plan, as quickly and easily as possible, send us an email to along with the following documentation:

  • Study plan sealed by the Secretariat of the center of origin.
  • The academic program of the subjects studied and/or enrolled in the original degree.

Professional practices

Internships in companies are a key element in your education. Acquiring experience and putting into practice what you have learned on your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internship, curricular (which are included as part of your program) and extracurricular (which you can do on a voluntary basis).

In order to carry out an internship in a company, you’ll need to have passed 50% of your credits and register before you start the internship. Both the company and a professor on your course will monitor your progress on the internship as well as providing an evaluation at the half way mark and upon completion. 

If you want to gain extra work experience before finalizing your university studies, you are welcome to carry out extracurricular internships. You can carry them out in whichever year of your studies you choose but we remind you that internships are formative and should complement your studies. The more theoretical knowledge you have acquired throughout your degree, the more you will benefit from the internships.
