Student Jorge Labarga Chávarri was in charge of organizing this new modality which is part of the obstacle course

The Mud Day comes to Madrid on June 11 as part of a new category promoted by the Universidad Europea School Contest. The Mud Day is an extreme challenge inspired by military training while still being a fun event filled with unforgettable moments surrounded by friends.

The School Contest category, organized by Universidad Europea student Jorge Labarga Chávarri, is an event within the obstacle course in which all universities of Madrid can participate with their four-member teams. The idea is that teams compete with each other for the title of university champion. Until now, nine universities have signed up for this new modality, some with various teams.

The Mud Day is made up of 13 kilometers of inclines and mud through which participants must pass 22 obstacles inspired by military courses. Some of the obstacles that participants must face have come to be known as “Crawling Time”, “Touch the sky” and “The Wall King Dead.”
