Digital Project Manager, Chief Digital Officer, Big Data expert, Community Manager... Are these jobs here to stay? That is just one of the questions discussed at “TIC TAG: It's time for new professions,” held at the Universidad Europea campus in Alcobendas. There was one very specific conclusion: the digital revolution is not a fad; it affects all sectors and leads to the emergence of new professions in which the digital world is not a choice. Universities must be able to educate professionals in line with this new normal.
This was according to the participants of the round table held during the event, with renowned experts such as Juan Gascón, director of R&D digital services and content at Ametic; Luis Miguel Rosa, CEO of CIONet; Stephane Levesque, CEO of TICjob; Íñigo Amoribieta, CEO of La Nevera Roja; Marta Muñiz, director of IMPACT Business School; and Miguel Gómez Navarro, director of the Universidad Europea School of Architecture, Engineering and Design, who served as moderator.
The round table was followed by a Hackathon on May 20 and 21, titled “Develop your app with top experts,” with Javier Escribano, VP of Product at On Truck; and Nacho Somalo, director of the Master for Impact Through Innovation.
