The meeting took the form of several round tables, which discussed aspects of ‘Pain in the elderly: differentiating characteristics’ and ‘Orofacial pathology presenting with pain’.

The event also included a practical workshop on ‘TJD pathology: Infiltrations in clinical cases’. The Dentistry students attending the event were accompanied by Dr. Somacarrera, Dr. Díaz, Dr. Martín and Dr. Grando, professors of Medical Pathology at the Universidad Europea. Dr. Carmen Benito Vicente, president of SEDCYDO and professor at the Universidad Europea, was on the panel in the 2nd round table, on ‘Temporomandibular joint dysfunction’.
