MARIANO BOLANT: “I am joining the exciting project at the School of Architecture and Engineering”

Chairman of the Valencia Regional Association of Architects (CTAV) and recognized professional of architecture in the Region of Valencia and beyond, Mariano Bolant, will be a member of the faculty at Universidad Europea de Valencia as of this academic year. Students at the School of Architecture and Engineering will benefit from the knowledge and wisdom of Mariano Bolant on the subjects of Architecture and Deontology Projects + Professional Internship.

Mariano Bolant decided to join Universidad Europea de Valencia claiming: “I believe there to be an exciting project at the School of Architecture and Engineering, which is already up and running but needs to be consolidated and grown. I will try to contribute, albeit only a tiny amount”. Passionate about teaching, “who couldn’t like this marvelous path I love walking every day?”, the Chairman of the Valencia Regional Association of Architects wishes to highlight the numerous strengths of UE, such as “the offer of personalized education adapted to the profile of each student so as to try and obtain the very best from each one of them”.

Excited about making contact with his new students to “help them and convey my experience to them”, this year, he hopes to “enjoy them and, God willing, they will also enjoy their time with me and my teachings”.

Mariano Bolant also wished to comment on the needs of architecture in the 21st Century, or rather, the needs of future architects, specifically internationality, one of the strengths of Universidad Europea and something fundamental for the professionals who will need to adapt to living in a global world”. For that reason, Mariano Bolant highlights the importance of “providing students with the knowledge and sufficient mechanisms to adapt to the demands of a changing and globalized labor market”.

Finally, one of the most recognized voices in the city of Valencia in terms of urban planning and architecture spoke a little about Edificio Europa, one of the buildings used by Universidad Europea de Valencia: “Edificio Europa is a benchmark in service building architecture in the city of Valencia, both in terms of its composition and in terms of its significance and construction”.
