Academic staff

Ue6

The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) consolidates the academic and professional framework which for years has defined the ideology of Universidad Europea.

All of our bachelor's degree and graduate degree programs are adapted to its requirements and respond both to the demands of society and to criteria that ensure quality teaching that focuses on the needs of students and their learning process.

One of the priorities of the EHEA is that you should learn by doing, and that subjects have a highly practical approach. Through programs for developing personal and professional skills, we have made progress in the development of students' abilities as well as those of the professors sharing their education.

Teacher Training

At Universidad Europea we know that our teaching staff must respond to the new educational needs of our students. To this end, we have joined the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and created a joint work program with our teaching staff so that they can benefit from:

  • Fully developing their skills;
  • Taking part in supplementary training programs focused on their interests;
  • Incorporating IT into the teaching and learning process;
  • Promoting educational innovation (for example, by introducing new active education methodologies into the classroom);
  • Applying new strategies to assess knowledge;

Available programs

  • 'Strategies for enabling teamwork in the classroom'
  • 'Active methodologies: The Case Method'
  • 'Supporting teaching with IT with active methodologies'
  • 'Developing students' skills'
  • 'Teaching plans and alternative forms of assessment: the student's portfolio'

Teaching Staff Mobility

Universidad Europea is committed to training its professors and to developing prestigious research projects.

To do this, we have set up national and European mobility funding programs so that our teaching and research staff can participate in and benefit from academic and scientific progress from other centers, and so that we can increase the knowledge and competitiveness of our research groups and departments.

At Universidad Europea we lay the foundations for enabling professors who wish to move, to apply for a visiting stay in a foreign teaching center, such as:

Laureate International Universities

Our professors can access the global scholarships awarded within the Laureate network, increasing our comprehensive scholarship program even further, to motivate and support them.

There are other mobility programs also available to our professors:
